Methylation is a critical biological process essential for various aspects of health, including immunity, fertility, energy, neurological and cardiovascular function, and metabolism. It involves cycles like folate, methionine, neurotransmitter, transsulfuration, and urea, which are necessary for creating and repairing cells, balancing neurotransmitters, enhancing immune function, regulating inflammation, detoxifying toxins and excess hormones, and supporting overall cardiovascular and neurological health. Impaired methylation can lead to a wide range of symptoms, such as fatigue, hormonal imbalances, stress susceptibility, cardiovascular disease, cognitive issues, low immunity, poor recovery, fertility problems, allergies, and even cancer. A genetic DNA methylation test can reveal how well your body manages this process, highlighting your detoxification capabilities, nutrient needs, mood and stress responses, risk for heart issues and inflammation, hormonal balance, and immune efficiency. This personalised information helps you make informed health and lifestyle choices tailored to your genetic profile.
